カイゼン

It began in Tokyo — Hakusan, Bunkyo City — inside a modest 19m² shared apartment. After long nights working at an architecture firm, I’d catch the last train home and collapse into a cramped room where my knees pressed against the bedframe and the city lights slipped in through a small window.

Outside, I saw a world of millions — yet felt the quiet weight of dreams fading into routine. In a city of 30 million, my own ideas began to blur.

I thought about the people I grew up with — those with incredible potential. Some chased it, creating beautiful, lasting things. Others let it slip away, buried under the safe comfort of what’s expected. Somewhere in between, Kaizen was born — not as a brand, but a mindset: that progress doesn’t come all at once, but in small, deliberate steps.

Through failure, trial, and persistence, Kaizen matured. It became a bridge between cultures, a living practice of becoming just 1% better each day. Today, it’s driven by two university students — fueled by purpose, not perfection — connecting with global manufacturers to share our vision across New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and beyond.

This is only the beginning.
